Drodzy Polonusi,

Ciesze sie, ze moge zaproponowac nowe kulturalne wyjscie, pomysl czlonkini naszej grupy (dzieki za inicjatywe Justyno!!!).

Jest to wystawa impresjonistow (i post-impresjonistow) w muzeum Arken. Podziwiac bedzie mozna m.in. malarstwo Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Degas, Rodin, Gauguin, Cézanne i Van Gogh’a.

Polozone tuz przy plazy, muzeum zwraca na siebie uwage niezwykla bryla architektoniczna, ktora ma nasladowac kadlub statku. Muzeum slynie nie tylko z wystaw sztuki, ale takze ze swietnej kawy, serwowanej na tarasie tuz nad morskimi falami.

Polozone niecale 25 minut pociagiem od Kopenhagii, grzechem byloby nie zobaczyc.

Proponuje spotkac sie w muzeum przy kasach o godz. 14.30.

Dear all,

I am pleased to announce our first cultural outing this year! A big thanks to Justyna who initiated this idea!

The Arken museum is holding an exhibition of impressionist and post-impressionist art. Paintings of such glorious artists as Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Degas, Rodin, Gauguin, Cézanne i Van Gogh are on display.

If you’re not “art-inclined”, it is still worth a visit if only to see the museum itself. It is by the water front and the building itself is an impressive architectural wonder in a shape of a ship’s hull. Arken is known not only for its art, but also for the café along the beach above the (now probably raging) sea ;)

The museum is located at about a 25-minute train ride from Copenhagen.

I propose we meet inside the museum by the cashiers at 14.30.
